|Recommended: YesNice place to live — I really like the complex. The only downside is the workout room hours we really need early am access. Most complex offer 24 hour access to the onsite facilities.

My neighbors are very nice, friendly and considerate - something which is all too rare in many apartment complexes. My apartment is well maintained and the grounds are simply lovely. It's not far from the interstate, but it's so peaceful and the wooded areas nearby make you feel like you're out in the country. The office and maintenance staff are very polite and courteous. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, sometimes even in the same day! I would not hesitate to recommend The Summit as a great place to live.
|Recommended: YesVery nice apartm — The only thing that I do not like is the stairwell in my building, it needs power washed and the residents with children need to pick up the trash off the ground behind them.

I've lived in The Summit Apartments for over a year now and have even renewed my lease for another year. The staff is quite helpful especially Kelli Whiteside, but anyone you encounter will always give you a smile and fix your issues promptly.

Parking is getting to be a challenge. More than one car per apartment makes it hard to get close to your building. Nobody has stickers in their cars anymore so dont know who belongs and who doesn't. Folks renting covered spaces but then parking outside so getting a double spot. Just have to get used to apartment living. . enjoying the walks to my car.
Too many wheelchair accessible parking spots for a building that is clearly not wheelchair friendly??

One problem is people dont pick up after their dogs when they walk them. It gets to be a hassle
when walking your dogs after dark and stepping in someone else dog poo. I seem to be the only one I see who does pick up after my animals and it is getting bad. Hate to see what the spring rains will bring with the smell. Also was told that our porches is not for keep your dogs on all the time. I see one puppy outside in this cold all the time no matter what time of day I walk my dogs. I feel sorry for the little guy it is getting really cold outside now and he is out day and night,
Outside of that I would recommend Summit to all my friends.

Apartments are a great size for what you pay and I love the floor plan.
Poor insulation and old air conditioning system means the place stays HOT.
All in all, the good outweigh the bad by far.
